A disturbing incident unfolded on Monday afternoon in Manhattan’s SoHo district, leaving one young woman critically injured.
According to authorities, a 25-year-old woman was attacked while walking through the upscale shopping area around 3:00 p.m. The assault involved a sharp object – reportedly a shard of glass – used to inflict a wound to her neck.
Law enforcement responded swiftly following a 911 call reporting an ongoing assault near Broome Street. Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.

“From what I heard, a lady was about to get robbed for her bag… He went to the other lady, cut and robbed her back and cut her in the neck with a piece of glass and then ran up the block,” stated Jordan P., who witnessed the attack. “She looked really pale.”
