The family of Virginia Giuffre has announced her death at the age of 41.
A statement released Friday evening confirmed Ms. Giuffre, a prominent survivor of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse and sex trafficking network, passed away by suicide in Neergabby, Australia, where she had resided for several years.
“We share this news with profound sorrow, announcing Virginia’s passing last night at her farm in Western Australia,” the family shared.
Their statement continued: “Virginia’s life ended through suicide, a tragic consequence of enduring lifelong trauma from sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was an unwavering advocate against these heinous crimes, a beacon of hope for countless survivors.”
