Virginia Giuffre dies at 41

Virginia Giuffre, Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew accuser, dead at 41 by suicide: report Scandal

Virginia Giuffre, a central figure in allegations against both Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew concerning abuse suffered during her youth, has tragically died by suicide in Australia.

The 41-year-old had emerged as one of the most visible accusers against Epstein and Andrew, notably initiating legal proceedings against the British royal in New York in 2021. Her lawsuit detailed claims of being compelled into sexual encounters with Epstein on three occasions between 1999 and 2002 while she was a minor.

News of Giuffre’s passing originated from reports by NBC News, confirming that she died in Neergabby, Western Australia, where she had made her home.

Epstein himself died by suicide in 2019 while incarcerated in a New York City jail, following federal charges related to sex trafficking.

In a statement released to NBC News, Giuffre’s family conveyed their profound grief: “It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia. She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.”

The statement further emphasized Giuffre’s courage: “Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors. In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.”

Born in Florida, Giuffre recounted being recruited at age 16 by Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s girlfriend, with the intention of working for Epstein.

  • Age: 41
  • Location of Death: Neergabby, Western Australia
  • Key Allegations: Claims of sexual abuse and coercion by Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew.

“Virginia’s legacy will endure as a symbol of resilience for those who have experienced similar trauma,” the family added.
