Amanda Owen’s New Move

Amanda Owen, known for her dedication to Ravenseat Farm, has momentarily stepped away from her usual duties to participate in a delightful community event. The star of “Our Yorkshire Farm” recently ventured to Harrogate with some members of her family, including her children Miles and Edith, to serve as judges at a local dog show—a welcome change of pace from the demands of farm life.

The outing provided a charming glimpse into Owen’s world beyond the fields and livestock. Images shared on Instagram depict the trio happily interacting with dogs and attendees under a bright sky.

“We must be barking mad!” she playfully captioned the post. “The Owen clan (Miles & Edith & myself) judging at Harrogate Dog Show !!!! There was such a great atmosphere, the sun was shining as people and their pets turned out to enjoy showing off their pooches. All shapes, sizes and breeds but best of all was hearing about the owner’s relationships with their dogs.”

The annual event, held on Saturday, April 12th, featured a variety of categories, recognizing canine talents ranging from “cutest puppy” to “best trick,” alongside enjoyable activities for participating pups.

Owen, looking stylish in a nude dress and brown shoes, was seen awarding certificates to the winners. The pictures quickly garnered enthusiastic responses from attendees and fans alike. Comments flooded the post with expressions of gratitude and admiration:

  • “We loved meeting you! Thank you for your support!”
  • “Thank you so much for supporting the Harrogate Dog Show again!”
  • “Looks a fab day.”
  • Many complimented her fashion sense, noting their appreciation for her dress.

Owen’s commitment extends beyond farm management; she recently addressed the evolving educational needs of her son Sydney. The 13-year-old is now being homeschooled, balancing his time between contributing to the farm’s workload and pursuing his studies.

“Sydney here is now homeschooled,” she shared on Instagram Story. “So he splits his time between being outside on the farm and in the countryside and also doing his schoolwork because you’ve got a strict syllabus to follow.”

She added with a touch of humor, “Also now home schooling a certain somebody too. It’s keeping me busy… if not out of mischief.”
