Among the thousands participating in the annual event winding its way through London, Dommett initially appeared to be enjoying the challenge. However, around mile seventeen, he unexpectedly collapsed, leading to a swift response from medical personnel.
As concerns grew when updates on his progress ceased after reaching mile fifteen, Dommett later detailed the alarming situation to his social media followers. “Not the race I expected! I fainted at mile 17 – don’t really remember much but I woke up in an ambulance!” he posted.
