NFL star's brother slaps fan after UFL game Sports

The United Football League (UFL) is currently conducting an inquiry into an altercation that occurred between a fan and Michigan Panthers receiver Samson Nacua following a recent game.

Video footage captured Nacua, brother of Los Angeles Rams standout Puka Nacua, engaged in a tense exchange with a spectator on the sideline after the Panthers’ contest against the St. Louis Battlehawks. The video shows Nacua striking the fan and then departing the scene; the specific words exchanged leading to the incident remain unknown.

“The UFL is cognizant of the event that unfolded last night following the Michigan Panthers versus St. Louis Battlehawks game in St. Louis. League authorities are actively examining the situation,” a statement from the UFL confirmed.

Teammate Adonis Alexander was present during the confrontation but did not participate directly. The match took place at the Dome of America, where the Panthers suffered a narrow defeat against the Battlehawks by a score of 32-27.

Nacua’s collegiate career saw him play for both Utah and BYU. At Utah, he amassed impressive statistics over four seasons: 82 receptions for 1,015 yards and 11 touchdowns in 45 games. He then transferred to BYU in 2021, contributing with 21 catches, 329 yards, and three touchdowns.

Prior to joining the Panthers for a second time – having also played for the Pittsburgh Maulers – Nacua pursued opportunities with the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints but was ultimately unsuccessful in securing a roster spot.

This season, Nacua has recorded seven receptions for 116 yards and one touchdown for the Michigan Panthers.
