Beatrice’s husband mocks Clarkson

Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, playfully joined the online banter surrounding Jeremy Clarkson’s 65th birthday after the TV personality received a humorous tribute from his girlfriend, Lisa Hogan.

Hogan, 51, shared a photograph of herself and Clarkson with a witty message celebrating this milestone. Referencing Clarkson’s long career, she wrote: “Congratulations for Finally achieving those Three Little Letters! After five and a half decades of service to King & country, and indeed across this fine globe, I’m so proud, & frankly astonished, you’ve earned Jeremy Clarkson OAP.”

Mapelli Mozzi demonstrated his amusement by liking the post and adding several laughing emojis. He shares two daughters, Sienna and Athena, with Princess Beatrice, whom he married in 2020. He also has a son, Christopher Woolf, from a previous relationship.

This lighthearted exchange follows closely on the heels of news that Prince William recently made an appearance on Clarkson’s Amazon Prime show.

During a visit to Folly Farm in Pensford, Chew Valley, earlier this month, Prince William engaged with stars Caleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland of ‘Clarkson’s Farm.’ A camera crew from the series documented William’s presence as he highlighted mental health support for farmers. The event brought together 60 young farming tenants within the Duchy of Cornwall.

The gathering aimed to empower future generations in agriculture by offering information and inspiration through business resilience workshops and discussions surrounding the challenges faced by those working in the industry, including the importance of addressing mental health concerns.

“Farming can be a lonely profession where individuals face multiple external pressures and considerable uncertainty,” William acknowledged.

The Prince of Wales also took on the role of Patron for We Are Farming Minds, a charity based in Herefordshire and backed by the Duchy, further underscoring his commitment to supporting the agricultural community.
