Meghan Harry’s Health Concerns Delay UK Return

Meghan Markle is currently prioritizing the debut of her new podcast, “Confessions Of A Female Founder,” and has chosen not to accompany Prince Harry on his recent trip back to the United Kingdom.

The inaugural episode, released earlier today, features an intimate discussion between Markle and Whitney Wolfe Herd, the founder of Bumble. The conversation quickly turned personal as both women shared experiences with postpartum preeclampsia, a rare and serious condition.

“We both had very similar experiences though we didn’t know each other at the time with postpartum, and we both had preeclampsia. Postpartum preeclampsia,” Markle disclosed. “It’s so rare and so scary.”

Markle elaborated on the challenges of navigating these health concerns while also fulfilling her public duties.

“And you’re still trying to juggle all of these things, and the world doesn’t know what’s happening quietly. And in the quiet, you’re still trying to show up for people mostly for your children but those things are huge medical scares.”

The podcast series will consist of eight episodes, charting Markle’s path as an entrepreneur.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry arrived in London on Sunday to pursue a legal challenge against a High Court decision regarding his security arrangements.

  • He is taking action against the Home Office concerning a 2020 ruling by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures.

The core issue revolves around the level of personal protection Harry should receive when visiting the UK.

Harry contends that his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are unable to feel safe and secure in Britain without adequate police protection.

During previous High Court proceedings, it was established that Harry’s status has shifted due to his departure from a full-time working role within the Royal Family. This alteration in status forms the crux of the ongoing security dispute, prompting his return to the UK.
