The technology behemoth detailed significant efforts to maintain ad quality and protect users from deceptive practices. A substantial number of accounts were identified as violating Google’s advertising policies, resulting in suspensions.
- Account Suspensions: 2.9 million advertisers’ accounts were temporarily or permanently suspended.
- Ad Removal: A total of 247.4 million advertisements were taken down for policy violations.
