A prominent voice in British politics, Sir John Redwood, has urged a more forceful response to the ongoing issue of migrant crossings via small boats across the English Channel.
Speaking on GB News, the former Conservative Member of Parliament expressed strong disapproval of current strategies employed by authorities. He stated that the existing measures are “completely unacceptable” and argued for immediate action targeting those facilitating these journeys.
Redwood specifically called upon Home Secretary Yvette Cooper to take a firmer stance and demanded that the UK Border Force proactively arrest individuals piloting or otherwise steering the vessels used in these crossings.
