A groundbreaking theory suggests that relics of immense religious significance, including the sarcophagus of Jesus Christ and the Ark of the Covenant, are concealed within a secret chamber located beneath the Great Pyramid of Egypt.
Dr. Paul Warner, a British anthropologist, has spent over a decade investigating this possibility. His research indicates these sacred objects reside in a hidden space he refers to as the “Cave of the Patriarchs.” He recently presented his findings to the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities.
Warner’s hypothesis hinges on extensive fieldwork and advanced technological scans conducted within the pyramid itself. He asserts that these surveys have revealed previously unknown, man-made structures situated beyond a significant stone block in the pyramid’s southern passageway. The video and photographic evidence he possesses, he states, represents the first visual documentation ever obtained from such deep within the pyramid’s structure.
The initial response to Warner’s presentation was reportedly enthusiastic. According to Warner, the Director of the Science Office described his work as “a scientific revolution […] for the benefit of all humanity,” shortly after Christmas 2021.
Following this presentation, Dr. Warner was appointed as a consultant to the Scan Pyramids Mission by the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities.
The Scan Pyramids project utilizes muon radiography, a technique employing subatomic particles to penetrate solid rock and map the internal structure of the pyramids without physical intrusion.
“After meeting at the office of Ahmed Issa (Minister for Tourism & Antiquities Egypt) on October 20th, 2022, Egypt agreed to receive my research data free of charge,” Warner stated. “In return, they committed to scanning beyond the stone block in the subterranean chamber.”
However, Warner alleges that this commitment has not been fully honored, with the scan remaining incomplete.
Warner emphasizes that his approach is strictly secular and based on the scientific method, rather than religious belief. He claims to have arrived at his conclusions through a study of etymology, arguing that sacred mountains referenced in various religious texts ultimately point to the Great Pyramid as their geographical correlate. He postulates that Jesus may have delivered his “Sermon on the Mount” at this location, which Warner considers “the birthplace of all Abrahamic religions.”
While claiming support from “the very highest authorities in Egypt,” Warner’s project faces opposition from Zahi Hawass, a prominent figure often referred to as “the guardian of the pyramids.” Warner characterizes Hawass’s stance as an impediment to progress, citing his “notoriously grandiose” influence.
Frustrated by what he perceives as Egypt’s failure to uphold their agreement, Warner has sought assistance from Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, who also serves as President of the UN International Court of Justice. Salam may arbitrate to avert a potential “international row.”
Warner draws parallels between his situation and those faced by historical figures like Copernicus and Galileo, both scientists who challenged established dogma.
He believes that verifying the existence of these artifacts could hold profound implications for global peace. “This discovery has the potential for peace in the Middle East,” he asserts.
Warner’s ultimate goal is to remove the final stone block and reveal the chamber’s contents this year. He envisions displaying the Ark of the Covenant as a centerpiece, dubbed “the Jewel of the Nile,” at the opening of the new Grand Egyptian Museum near the pyramids.

- Research Method: Extensive fieldwork combined with advanced scanning technology (muon radiography).
- Current Status: Awaiting completion of a scan by the Scan Pyramids Mission, facing opposition from Zahi Hawass.
